SHARP LC-32P55E {LCD TV}:

RED LED BLINKS FOR A SECOND, AND THE SET DEAD AFTER A RELAY CLICK.

Check the resistor (R751) for open circuit.  If it found open, check
IC 704 before replacing this resistor.  It will be best to replace the
IC, if this resistor found open.

Under Protection Mode?

The sharp LCD TVs have the protection mode come out.  Normally the
technician will first check the inverter board, power board etc:  If
still can't any result, the will check the signal board or main board.
Even though change the inverter board or PSU board, the TV might still
under protection mode.  Some times, the TV has been fixed by the
technician; but they won't remember that the protection mode is still
inside the memory.  It is important to erase this stored data in the
error buffer to make TV ON  normally after repair.  To erase the error
codes that stored in the error buffer:

Power OFF the set by its front panel Power ON/OFF switch.

Press and Hold the Channel Down and Volume Up buttons simultaneously
and Switch ON the TV. By doing this, the protection error recorded in
the buffer will be erased.
